BIKRAM YOGA –MILITARY STRESS STUDY
Hello- My name is Brenda Mueller. I am a doctoral student working on my dissertation research project, which will look at the effects of Bikram hot yoga on military-related stress. You are eligible to participate in this study if you are active duty, reserve, or former United States military and you practice Bikram hot yoga. All that will be asked of you is to complete an online questionnaire, which should take about 20 minutes. Your responses will be anonymous and confidential; I will not ask for any identifying information. Your participation may help researchers gain important information regarding effective treatments for military-related stress.

Babysitting is available for the following classes:
9:30AM - Monday - Friday
5:30PM - Tuesday & Thursday
6:00PM - Monday & Wednesday
10:00am -Saturday
Cost is $7 per child, 2 for $12, or 3 for $15
Babysitter is licensed by Fairfax County and has worked in the Fairfax County Public School System.
**GENERAL STUDIO INFORMATION**
The studio occupies a total area of 6500 sq ft with the main yoga room comprising 1500 sq ft. The yoga room is 60' x 25' and has additional space on both ends to accommodate large classes. Both locker rooms are equipped with handicapped accessible showers, sinks, and commodes. There is a large lobby area with ample waiting areas outside the yoga room. Additional rooms are available for massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc.
A large selection of yoga clothing from a variety of vendors is available for sale. We also sell yoga mats, books, tapes, etc. A variety of beverages and nutritional supplements are offered for sale; and mats and towels are available for rent.
Getting here
Ample parking is available with easy, well lit access to the studio. Please do not park in front of any of the other businesses. Park in the spots that are marked "Reserved: Bikram Yoga" or along the perimeter fences, including behind the building. There are also undesignated spaces at the entrance to the parking lot. Parking can be a challenge so consider carpooling if possible and remember that there are spaces on the opposite side of the building as well.
Alternatively, students can take the metro, as the studio is located adjacent to the Van Dorn metro stop (Blue Line) and is just a brief one minute walk.

ADDITIONAL STUDIO INFORMATION
We have the newest yoga mats from Prana and Yogitoes in stock as well as Yogitoes mat-sized towels.
Also, please try one of our two Far Infrared Saunas. It is great for de-toxifying heavy metals from the body. First session is free for members; otherwise $10 charge. Please call to schedule an appointment for use of the sauna.
We also offer Coconut water for $2.50 (available by the case for $30).
